I found this gig by accident. The Tullys (a sort of poppy, jazzy, lounge sound with rock/indie style drums...Perhaps?). I dunno what type of music you call it really but it is wicked stuff. The drummer barks during some of the songs!
It's kinda old in a way, but not old fashioned, if you know what I mean?. Lots of lyrics that make sense and mean something, instead of just rhyming! And great singing by Paul Tully, who, apparently, writes their stuff. The sound is solid and rocks, taking you by surprise sometimes. Other songs are just nice and gentle and make you feel happy and safe!
God knows where they've come from - I blagged a CD which has website info on it but only three tracks (it was free though), so I'll check them out, but they went down really well at The Hope, people loved them and I'll be at there next gig for sure. xx Chrissy
